Skyline
I remember when I was a young kid, my sister and I would look up in the sky and imagine different things from the cloud patterns. We would see horses, flowers, dogs, even Santa Claus from those patterns. We would spend hours pointing the patterns to each other and more often than not, we would end up hurting our necks. Now I would occasionally look up at the sky but somehow I could not see those things anymore. I guess we kind of lost that kind of imagination when we grow up.
The photo below was only slightly manipulated in photoshop (sharpness, levels and saturation). It was taken at dusk on a spring and the clouds are really red because of the setting sun.

Veggies
Nature has a lot to offer when it comes to photography subjects. You just need to have the eye to find one. I was about to cook the other day when I noticed the interesting textures of these vegetables. It resulted in this interesting abstract picture... and, sadly, a not-so-interesting meal.

If only I could hide...
I was so busy at work today. There was a program that I need to do and finish today. Aside from that, the users were on their usual Monday madness. Phones keep ringing every 10 minutes or so. It was really crazy. Sometimes I wished I could just hide my head just like these two flamingoes.

Song of the Week: Yellow
Sunday is usually the time I go out and take photographs. On sundays, I will also post lyrics of songs I like and a photo that is somehow I associate with that song.
Yellow
By Coldplay
From the album "Parachutes", 2000
Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And everything you do
yeah, they were all yellow
I came along
I wrote a song for you
And all the things you do
And it was called Yellow
So then I took my turn
Oh what a thing to've done
And it was all yellow
Your skin
Oh yeah you're skin and bones
Turn into something beautiful
And you know
You know I love you so
You know I love you so
I swam across
I jumped across for you
Oh what a thing to do
Cuz you were all yellow
I drew a line
I drew a line for you
Oh what a thing to do
And it was all yellow
You're skin
Oh yeah you're skin and bones
Turn into something beautiful
And you know
For you I'd bleed myself dry
For you I'd bleed myself dry
Its true
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for...
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine
Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And all the things that you do

For Kramer and Newman
Seen these rickshaws on sale, and I was thinking they might actually look good as decoration in my flat. Well, I've been in hongkong for almost 10 years but I haven't seen anyone actually riding these vehicles. Fans of Seinfeld will surely remember Kramer and Newman trying to use rickshaw in New York city. It was funny, but it wasn't a bad idea though.
